Hoppining festivities

Easter weekend really sets the mood of spring.  Spring training is just about over bringing the start of a fun and exciting baseball season.  Warmer weather is finally starting to make its way to the Midwest.  Usually in Chicago warm weather also means festival season is on the horizon.

There are many great festivals in the Chicago land area, most commonly known are the music festivals; but the beer festivals are where the real fun is.  There are 28 festivals having to do with beer in Illinois this year all promising a great experience.  My favorite is definitely the Brew and Vine Festival.  This festival has everything including a  “Designated Driver Program available for those who wish to enjoy all the event has to offer with the exception of alcoholic beverages. See ticket info.” (http://tinleyparkbrewandvinefest.com/event-information/).  The Brew and Vine Festival takes place at the Tinley Park Convention Center on May 2.

So if you are in the Chicago area and are interested in trying some new great tasting craft beers be sure to make a stop at one of these amazing festivals.  Drink Responsibly and have a Hoppy Easter (for those who celebrate it).
